AS RELíQUIAS DO SERTÃO
/PERSONAL PROJECT
This is my first adventure as a writer: AS RELÍQUIAS DO SERTÃO - O GIBÃO DO TEMPO [The Relics of the Backlands - The Jacket of Time]. It’s a children’s book that tells the story of Tila, a girl who lives in the Brazilian northeastern backlands. Her biggest dream is to become a great cowgirl, despite the protests of those who insist on saying, "That’s a man’s job." During her last visit to the farm, she discovers a magical object that makes her travel back in time to the very day when the arid backlands went from being the sea to becoming the backlands.

There’s also an interactive part that invites the reader to learn more about the region. Just scan the QR codes scattered throughout the pages to discover more about the local cuisine, literature, and music.
Since I released it independently, I was able to donate 1 book for every 2 sold. Always to institutions connected to the backlands and the sea.
